To become a Clocksmith, one must first enter the Glorious Academy of Clocksmithery. After two years of intensive study, the student becomes an apprentice. If, after three years of apprenticeship, if the aspiring Clocksmith shows promise, the master will file a recommendation for advancement. If the recommendation is approved by the governing Paragon, the apprentice is issued a license and becomes a fully-fledged Clocksmith.
