Abdiel’s Day, celebrated on the first day of spring, is held in honor of Abdiel – the central figure in Brigard’s primary religion – and his pilgrimage to the mortal world. In the morning, a special service is held at the churches, during which lilies are handed to everyone. When the service is over, these flowers are then tossed into a river. If no river is available, a ledge can suffice. Later, families typically have a large dinner and vendors sell Triumph tarts; small pastries laden with honey.
As a side note, I would like to remind everyone of the book giveaway I am holding. I have two free copies of The Clocksmith I will be giving out on January 10th. To enter, all you have to do is Like the post with the full rules, which can be found here: link.
