Dotting the hilltops along Brigard’s central coast are massive circles of stone pillars. Called faen arden, or hill-homes, these monuments were erected by a civilization lost to time. Most scholars agree that the circles were built as tombs of some sort, as excavation has uncovered chambers containing skeletal remains deep below each circle. Strangely, most of the remains are missing both feet. The reason for this practice is still subject to much debate, but most agree that it was intentional.
