Although most of the kingdom’s lumber is produced in the north, one of the most sought-after woods is grown primarily along the southeastern coast. The wood of the Southern Cherry tree is a deep brownish-red colour and very popular in the flooring of upper-class houses. Additionally, the live tree’s branches tend to grow very thickly, making it an ideal source of shade in gardens.
