Brigard Fact #92

When children in southeastern Brigard misbehave, their parents will often tell them the story of the Plosenkond, or Rain Spirit. The Plosenkond is a being of darkness that wanders the land during heavy rainfall, so the stories say. It appears as a humanoid devoid of identifying features, aside from the extremely long, gnarled limbs and fingers. One of the most notable features of the Plosenkond is its means of entry. While most fairytale monsters only crawl in through windows or doors, the Plosenkond is said to have the power to create its own doors, appearing in any room it pleases and spiriting the child away to its home of eternal rainfall.
